The Woman with Great Hair From Another Planet
Blue Eyes and I are having a rough week, with a lot to do for the kids and our jobs needing our time and little left for ourselves. When I’m running on empty like that, I turn to TV sometimes, which helps a lot with not having enough time i know, but anyway, I’m watching some old Family Ties rerun and a commercial comes on with a woman with really BEAUTIFUL hair. Just amazing, sexy, full of body, super shiny hair. After hearing her talk, I look at her kind of sideways and decide we must be from different planets.
She says her hair looks so great and it is so easy to do. She uses shampoo and conditioner first. Then she uses a little gel throughout the hair, then root-booster at the roots, then blow dry in sections, then toss with her fingers, then finish with hair spray.
Oh, my.
Lately, at the end of the day, when I take my shower, I look at the shampoo and conditioner and think - I must remember to put on the grocery list one of those 2-in-1 shampoo-conditioners, because I just don’t have time to do this all. This is before I go to bed with my hair wet and put my hair in a pony tail the next day. But, when I get out of the shower I forget about the grocery list because I’m so ready to get into bed.
Different planets, I’m sure of it.
