Short Post #4

I found it. My time. Where it went. The time I spend blogging or hanging around the house, the unplanned, unproductive time that renews me and makes me stronger. It has been at work. Working to hard, too many hours, early in the morning, on weekends. So many variables, short on people, long on challenges, unique opportunities with short time windows.

Big project finished just before Thanksgiving, late on Wednesday evening the night before to be exact. Now I rest. I reset. I plan the next project better. I create the job I want, set the timelines I want, do great work, but even better work at home, for me and my family. There are ebbs and flows, times to work more and times to be at home more, now is a time to be at home. To work with Blue Eyes on the new kitchen, to get the baby’s room ready and make the holidays amazing, with lots of family and time together and some really good food. That is what I’m thankful for today. A new start, a new intention and maybe a homemade pecan pie with Cool Whip and a nice cup of coffee.
